ABSTRACT: Stabilizing a cliff against rock fall is one of the major tasks of geotechnical engineers. Thus, the choice of optimal protection systems is the objective of an in-depth investigation in order to characterize and specify unstable areas. This paper includes the detailed diagnosis of the cliff Ain El Anba, Southern Tunisia. Geological, Structural and geotechnical survey of the site has been conducted and the major vulnerable zones and stability trigger has been identified. In addition, rock fall trajectories have been simulated using GEOROCK 2D and 3D.
