Decline-curve analysis is one of the more widely used forms of data analysis that evaluates well behavior and forecasts production and reserves. This paper presents technologies that apply DCA methods to wells in an unbiased, systematic, intelligent, and automated fashion. The resistivity index (RI) of Fontainebleau and Bentheimer sandstones was investigated at ambient and reservoir pressures down to low water saturations. The RI measurements show that both sandstones display Archie behavior at elevated pressure. This paper presents experimental and field-case studies with a sandstone-acidizing treatment designed to retard the hydrofluoric acid reaction rate and enable single-stage treatment.

In the early 2000s, former SPE President Giovanni Paccaloni brought YPs together with a vision to start YP programs in SPE. In a tribute to his legacy, YPs who were part of the founding stages of the now successful programs share their memories working with Paccaloni and his role as their mentor. Eight steps to find a mentor and establish a relationship. This article features some of the SPE mentors who are currently accepting mentees, and they share their reasons for participating in the program. SPE eMentoring program provides young members an opportunity to benefit from the knowledge of experienced professionals from around the world.
The basic objective of this course is to introduce the overview and concept of production optimisation, using nodal analysis as a tool in production optimisation and enhancement. The participants are exposed to the analysis of various elements that help in production system starting from reservoir to surface processing facilities and their effect on the performance of the total production system. Depth conversion of time interpretations is a basic skill set for interpreters. There is no single methodology that is optimal for all cases. Next, appropriate depth methods will be presented. Depth imaging should be considered an integral component of interpretation. If the results derived from depth imaging are intended to mitigate risk, the interpreter must actively guide the process.

The paper proposal should have the necessary clearance before it is submitted to APOGCE 2021. Prospective authors should advise of any clearance problems when the paper proposal is submitted.
