Caigury, Canada The Turam method is frequently used in areas where multiple conductors are known to occur. However, when conventional procedures are used for interpretation the results may be confusing. A series of computer and scale model studies have been performed to investigate the response of the Turam system to multiple targets, both in a conductive host rock and with a poorly conductive overburden present. The results show that two conductors may be resolved provided that their depth is not greater than the distance between their current axes, even when a conductive overburden is present. HowJever, conventional Turam interpretation procedures are generally not applicable to closely spaced multiple conductors.
