A method for solving the issues associated with immediate assessment of the potential flow rate of a large number of wells, as well as for the search of candidates for wellwork is presented. A method for solving optimization problems that arise in operation of gas lift wells on offshore is proposed. Examples of using the proposed method at offshore oil fields of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam that are operated by JV Vietsovpetro are shown.
