Michael Cronin is the Editor in Chief of TWA. He works as a reservoir engineer in the Upstream Research Company at ExxonMobil. He holds a PhD in energy and mineral engineering (petroleum & natural gas engineering option) from Pennsylvania State University, a master's degree in geological sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, and dual bachelor's degrees in petroleum & natural gas engineering and geosciences (with honors) from Pennsylvania State University, where he received the 2011 Eric A. Walker Award. Cronin is a member of SPE since 2009 and recipient of the 2019 Cedric K. Ferguson Medal and the 2021 SPE Regional Young Professional Member Outstanding Service Award. His technical interests include enhanced oil recovery in ultra-tight reservoirs, gas injection, phase behavior, applied analytical modeling, reservoir simulation, and experimental core analysis. He lives in Houston with his wife Susanna and their three children. Aman Srivastava is the Deputy Editor in Chief of TWA. He is technical advisor-well construction for Halliburton-Landmark. With a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat, India, and a master's degree in petroleum engineering from Oklahoma University, and almost 10 years of experience in on-field and off-field drilling activities, Srivastava holds a special interest in well construction engineering. He is a reviewer of two peer-reviewed journals in petroleum engineering, and holds a patent for his design of internal combustion engine. In his free time, he loves watching movies and reading books when he is not busy playing with his daughter and spending time with family. Thomas Shattuck is an Advisor of TWA. He is also a third-year law student at the University of Houston Law Center where he serves as the Chief Notes & Comments Editor of the Houston Law Review. Previously, Shattuck was a research manager for the Deloitte Research Center for Energy & Industrials where he analyzed trends in the global energy markets with a focus on LNG as well as upstream exploration and development.
